Digital Marketing Consulting Competition for Calypso

Over the course of five weeks in my Digital Marketing class, my team and I developed a comprehensive online strategy to help Calypso Lemonade and their marketing team boost engagement and sales. We began by creating detailed buyer personas to clearly define and understand our target audience, providing a solid foundation for our approach. Next, we designed a content calendar to guide Calypso on what to post and when, ensuring a consistent output of high-quality content to drive engagement. Creating a content calendar gave my team and I hands-on experience in planning and executing consistent, high-quality social media campaigns. Additionally, analyzing content creators using SEMRush helped us understand the importance of influencer partnerships and how they can expand a company’s reach and foster stronger customer loyalty. Our team landed on two content creators who align with Calypso's brand best, enabling the company to reach a wider audience and build a loyal customer base.

During the competition, I served as the Content Lead for my team, where I was responsible for developing content strategies to help Calypso drive engagement and connect with their target audience. I focused on creating content ideas that aligned with the detailed buyer personas we crafted for Calypso, ensuring that all proposed materials resonated with their brand identity and effectively addressed the needs and preferences of their audience.
